The Committee and members of the Vintage
Automobile Association thank you for your interest in our
club, which, although called "VINTAGE", caters
for all vehicles built 25 years or more ago.
This club is open to all persons interested in enjoying
the fun of motor cars of the veteran, vintage and up to the
classic modern cars of today. - Providing of course that are
more than 25 years old.
The aim of our club is to promote the restoration of the
older vehicles ( we include trucks, motor bikes, etc) in
our community, and the enjoyment and use of the same, as
individuals and as members of the club.

We have a variety of club runs, some long some short, (on
an average about two events per month), depending on the
season, and as well as these, we receive invitations to
join other clubs in their activities.
Any prospective new members
and visitors, are welcome to come and have a look at our
club, and to meet other members and join in lots of
friendly "old vehicle"
discussions.
It is not necessary to have an eligible
car before joining the Club, just an interest in the older
vehicles. In fact it is better to join and discuss your
aspirations with other members before you acquire your car.
You are welcome to come on our runs in your modern
vehicle.
Our club currently has approximately 300 memberships
or about 500 members, who
collectively own approximately 750 vehicles and of which
approximately 550 are restored
and concessionally licensed.
The V.A.A. membership includes you and your partner,
because wives or partners and families are an important
segment of our Organisation. This is not a very formal or
competitive club as our aim is to enjoy our cars and help
each other in the restoration process.

Our Club Magazine " PAST TIMES
" is posted or emailed to you each month a few days before
the monthly general meeting.
This is held in our own Clubroom's on the second Tuesday of
each month at 8.00 p.m. at 19 HELEN St BELLEVUE. -
See map.
The main business generally takes about an hour and,
after which we socialise over a free cuppa and cake
and discuss mutual interests (i.e. cars). Alternatively we
view an organised demonstration on some facet of
restoration. It is not "men only" and the ladies
usually make up about 20% of the attendance. These
well-attended meetings are friendly and informal and
visitors are most welcome.
